Sound Living Homestead

The owners of this home are so passionate about sustainable, energy efficient living that the goal for their home was to get to, or as close to Net Zero as possible. The lot was specifically chosen and custom house design created to fully maximize the southern exposure for the use of solar panels. They knew they wanted to cause less stress on the local water supply and would need water security for their extensive gardens. It was extremely important to the home owners to have as little waste as possible, and to find ways to use what they had on the land to increase their sustainability. We tried to incorporate as many elements as we could to benefit their homesteading lifestyle.
